Jeff’s entrepreneurial spirit has been at the center of his life since the day he was born in Dansville, NY.
From a young age, Jeff had always seen the positive impact his father’s business had on customers. Jeff knew that he would strive to put the same smile on others’ faces like his dad did as a third-generation clothier.
In college, Jeff loved to create things that people saw true value in, and he expressed this through his artwork. He got his undergraduate degree at SUNY Brockport in studio art, and two minors in business and art history. His Master’s degree is from Nazareth, which is a dual certification in education for primary and secondary levels.
Jeff’s first job out of college was in consulting, where he started his service delivery journey for external clients. Consulting helped Jeff realize that he wanted to help businesses run more like a business, and it reiterated his core belief of helping people.
He soon realized that there was a need in the market to help consumers with home-related goods and services and co-founded two SaaS companies. However, Jeff’s customer service journey was nowhere near its end.
There was an opportunity to lead the Customer Service and Sales Delivery teams at Mercedes-Benz, and he could not pass on the opportunity to directly see his impact on clients. Here, Jeff found the importance of simplifying highly complex terms and turning them into consumable and meaningful bits that customers could take value from. He saw the crucial connection between delivering the best client experience and customer loyalty.
Nevertheless, Jeff was eager to get back to his true love, technology. “Technology is the perfect tool to change the world and customers’ lives forever.” He advanced into the VP of Client Services role at CaterTrax, the leading enterprise catering software, overseeing all customer-facing employees in the company. Jeff was able to show others how software can make their lives easier and built teams that loved to help people.
Jeff was ready for the next evolution in his career and sought a position that would put him at the cross-section of his lifelong passions of People + Technology. Innovative Solutions was his new home. As an intrapreneur, Jeff has found fulfillment in bringing organizational change that will only bring more smiles to our customers.
Coaching his son and daughter through their passions in hockey and dance keep Jeff busy in his spare time. And when he needs a break from everything and regain perspective, you can find him in the Finger Lakes fishing with his family enjoying Mother Nature.
